Joan's Gopher

Ed. is retired and has lived in Summerland with Joan for over 30 years. He served with the RAF during WWII as a Ferry Pilot on the Atlantic Ferry and, returning to Canada, served with the RCAF (Reserve), RCN (Reserve) and Canadian Armed Forces Reserve until he was retired in 1980. During the1950's & 60's Ed was in Management in the Building Supply & Construction.

In 1972 Ed. decided to enter the Real Estate field and was active in Real Estate & Property Management until he fully retired in 1994.

Ed. is a member of the Masonic Lodge and Royal Arch Masons. He is also a member of Kiwanis International and the Summerland Kiwanis Club. Both Joan & Ed are also active with the Summerland Cancer Unit, where Joan looks after Publicity & Education and Ed. is the Unit Treasurer.

Gopher & Honeydew Jobs

Being married to an Artist brings with it a great many jobs that require imagination and more than a little ingenuity.

For example, coming up with the construction of easels for doing paintings and for Art Shows
